UPDATED 2025: I’ve worked with Robert Buckmann for four years running to enroll in the Affordable Care Act insurance program. He is knowledgeable, efficient and - as an added bonus - he is funny. 2026 enrollment was particularly challenging due to changes in the subsidies - Robert helped me understand my increased costs. As a freelancer, I have little insight into my expected income. He informed me well of threshholds and makes himself available throughout the year if I need to consider adjusting my income forecast. I like having an advisor for this process and it is such a great benefit that his fees are covered by the program and not by me - although I would happily pay for the assistance I get. I highly recommend Robert Buckmann for her service.
